The iconic L'Interdit perfume from Givenchy was introduced in 1957. In 2018, it was modernized and redesigned as L'Interdit Eau de Parfum, a fragrance built on the contrast between a bouquet of white flowers, mainly tuberose, and intense woody and earthy notes.
The L’Interdit collection receives a new edition in 2021, the new "red" fragrance L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge. Red, in addition to black, is one of the emblematic colors of the fashion house of Givenchy.
Perfumers Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo, and Fanny Bal, the trio that created the modernized version, also signed the new release. The composition reveals floral notes of jasmine and tuberose, with blood orange, ginger, smoky accords of vetiver, patchouli, sandalwood, and pimento leaves.
Top notes: blood orange, ginger
Heart: jasmine, tuberose, pimento leaf
Base: sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver
